At Roseacre we run a three-week rolling menu which is changed every three months. My aim is to provide fresh, health and nutritious meals that help to evoke memories of the “old days”; wholesome and comforting.

It is very important to me that we use local produce which is delivered daily. Our Torpoint based butcher delivers weekly.

Food safety and kitchen hygiene is essential and we hold a 5 start food safety rating from the Food Standards Agency.

When a new resident joins us at Roseacre, I like to introduce myself and chat with them and their family about their personal likes, dislikes and needs. Any medical and dietary needs and requirements are of the highest importance and are strictly adhered to.

We love a party at Roseacre so any date is an excuse; Valentines Day, Easter, Summer Tea Parties and Barbeques, Christmas and of course birthdays where every resident, if they wish, celebrates their special day with a homemade cake of their choice.

The kitchen is always open and fresh fruit, sandwiches, homemade cakes and biscuits, hot and cold drinks are available in addition to our main meals 24 hours a day.

Our large, bright dining room has views across Whitsand Bay to the Rame Peninsula and provides an area for our residents to socialise and share mealtimes. Some residents prefer to eat in their own rooms, the choice is always theirs.

I am very proud of the meals we provide in our home and welcome feedback from the residents, their families and friends and our staff.
