I have experience in a number of fields including Dental Nursing (qualified 1985) and Funeral Directing.

I have over 30 years  management experience and hold a number of Health and Social Care Qualifications and am a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. I am very proud of our team and the high standard of care we provide.

Chantelle McIrvenna, Manager

My name is Chantelle McIrvenna.  My Roseacre journey started in 2014 and I have held several positions here before taking up my current role as Manager.  I am passionate about providing the best quality of care to our residents and their families and I take pride in my ability to lead the team to achieve this.  I have a “hands on” approach and will help the team whenever I can and this helps me maintain strong relationships with the residents, their families and visiting healthcare professionals.

I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care and am currently working towards my Level 5.  I am passionate about my role within Roseacre and enjoy being in the position to be able to provide our residents with the best quality care. I enjoy working at Roseacre as we are a small family run care home and being small, we have time to really get to know our residents and adopt a person centred care approach. We never forget that this is our residents’ home, not just a care home and this gives us a very homely feel.  We are an amazing team and really are one big family.

Bradley Powell, Care Manager

My name is Bradley Powell and I have been the Care Manager at Roseacre since the beginning of 2024. My journey at Roseacre started 10 years ago when I was a very naïve 19 year old care assistant working night shifts, not really knowing where to go or what care work really involved. I surprised myself by very quickly fell in love with care, the team I worked with and most importantly the residents I cared for. It gave me a completely new outlook on life and I progressed through the company as senior care assistant, team leader, deputy care manager and I am now proud to be the care manager.

This job continues to give me fulfilment and purpose. Our residents are at the forefront of everything we do and we are driven by person centred care, ensuring that everything we do is for the individual not the collective.  These are the values that I ensure my team and I stand by every day.

Sadye Copp, Medication Manager

My name is Sadye Copp.  I am the Medication Manager at Roseacre. I have worked within the care industry for over 10 years and I started my journey here as a care assistant 3 years ago and then became a team leader.

I have always enjoyed being a care giver, I find it deeply rewarding and get great satisfaction from seeing how my care makes the residents feel better,  In my current role I work alongside the GP, pharmacist and other medical professionals to ensure medication use is as safe as possible and that I keep up to date with current legislation. I take great pleasure in working at Roseacre and look forward to many more years to come.

Ruth Wilson, Facilities Manager / Head Chef

My name is Ruth Wilson and I am the Facilities Manager and Head Chef at Roseacre, I joined the team in December 2023.  Cooking and food preparation have always been a passion for me. I worked as a Nanny in London for 27 years and using fantastic ingredients I provided the children in my care with a large variety of meals from around the world. When I moved to Torpoint in 2017 I became a chef in a care home for young adults with autism.

I consider food to be a major part of life and I strive to provide wholesome, comforting meals for each person in our care. Our residents have wide range of tastes, likes and dislikes.  Knowing each individual and catering for them is a wonderful part of the job. My aim is always to provide good, “old school” meals using fresh, local produce and I look forward to many more years of creating meals and feeding our wonderful friends,
